Winter Whites

Winter is near my friends, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop wearing white. I absolutely love the idea of an all white look. Especially because white boots are on trend this season, finally!

When styling your winter whites look remember to still dress for the season. It’s cold people, aka trade you white mini skirt for a great pair of white trousers. I paired my trousers with a off the shoulder cream sweater, white heeled booties, and my vintage white sunnies. Now some of you might be thinking, “your sweater is cream not white, does that still work?” The answer is, absolutely.

Think of it like this. Cream is just a variation of white, just like gray is just a variation of the color black. Never be afraid of a monochromatic look. It is classy and effortless. My favorite thing about winter whites and a monochromatic color scheme is that it really allows you to see all the different textures in each of the pieces. I love the contrast between the soft knit of my sweater and the structure of my trousers.

My challenge to you this week is to try and style your own monochromatic look. I want to hear your feedback. Comment on my winter whites Instagram picture or on this post, which ever you prefer! Remember to not over think it and to go with your gut if you are second guessing something. I am so excited to hear your thoughts and opinions.
