10 Summer Must-Haves For Her

 

Happy Wednesday, everybody! I hope your week has been great so far. I know that I am definitely looking forward to some sunshine here in the midwest. May flowers? More like May showers!

 

In hope for some sunshine I am sharing ten items today that are absolute must-haves for summer 2019. These items are versatile (no surprise there) and truly will stand the test of time.

 

1.White Button Up: Your basic white button up can be styled in so many ways. I particularly like this one by Banana Republic because of its linen material. You must have a breathable fabric in the summer. Pair this with denim shorts, layered necklace, white sandals, and a black straw hat for an adorable summer look! P.S. I told you all these pieces are versatile!

 

2. Denim Shorts: I know they can be our (my) enemy, but they are a must in the wardrobe. I love these by Levis. They are a longer short with a small amount of distressing. To keep the holes from ripping more, put a little fabric glue around the edge of the hole!

 

3.Gucci Sunglasses: My Gucci sunglasses have become my absolute go-to’s. I love that they go with every outfit, stay on my face, and I can wear them on top of my head if need be. Gals, I know you hear me when I say getting your hair stuck on the nose pieces of sunglasses is the WORST.

 

4.White Block Heel Mule: Meet your go-to summer shoe when you need to dress up. This shoe pairs with every color and goes with dresses, skirts, and denim. I also love a good block heel because they can be worn for longer periods and are a great way to branch out comfortably into a little more height (for my non-heel lovers out there).

 

5.Layered Gold Necklace: You’ve seen them everywhere I am sure. The gold layered necklace look is an easy and effortless jewelry piece that adds that extra touch to your look without going overboard. I love the minimalist look this necklace has.

 

6.Black Straw Hat: You’ve heard me talk about this hat once and I’ll talk about it again. This straw hat from BR (Banana Republic) is the best. It has an adjustable strap on the inside so it can fit your head perfectly, and it also comes in four colorways- one of each, please!

 

7.Sam Edelman Sandal: These adorable sandals will be your put on and go shoes all summer long. Keep them casual with shorts or wear them with a dress. They come in a wide variety of colors and are UNDER $100.

 

8.Striped Jumpsuit: Let’s bring some color to your wardrobe. This vertical striped jumpsuit is perfect for summer events. I love that it has vertical stripes instead of horizontal stripes. Why? Because vertical stripes elongate your figure and are more flattering.

 

9.Macrame Bag: This bag is flying off the shelves in every retailer. I have the black, and I love it. The inside of the bag is a zipped compartment so your items are better protected – especially at a pool or beach. Honestly, it is the perfect summer bag.

 

10. Maxi Dress: You can never go wrong with a black maxi dress. This is the dress to pull out when you have that “I have nothing to wear” feeling. Easy, effortless, and always works. Not to mention, elevate it with wedges and jewelry or keep it simple with sandals.
